Had a thought last night -- or this morning, can't recall which -- of how I could arrange my Legendary stories into seasons. I wasn't sure I could for a long while because there are seven stories that take place before the series officially begins.
Then I thought of what another writer did for his series. Star Trek: Dark Horizon's Michael Gray has a set of stories he called "Tales of Transition", and it suddenly occurred to me that I could do the same with those seven stories, which would enable me to rearrange the rest in seasons of ten stories -- one story per month from September to June, with the open option of dropping a new story idea into any season as deemed by my Muse.
So, I did that. I opened up the file, separated the stories by seasons -- even moved a few around to other seasons -- and q'apla! Thing is, I need just four more story ideas for season 7 to make a complete season. I'm sure I'll come up with something eventually, as I always do. I'm just glad I finally figured out how to make seasons like the TV shows are arranged.
